talat for someone who has lost his govt majority in parliment sure like to talk crap:

TALAT: “PAPADOPOULOS WILL BE OVERTHROWN IF HE DOESN’T CHANGE HIS NO-COMPROMISE STANCE”

In the runup to Sunday’s elections in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), TRNC Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Talat yesterday warned Greek Cypriot leader Tassos Papadapoulos to change his “no-compromise” stance if he wants to remain in power. “If Papadapoulos doesn’t change his attitude, our island will face the risk of being permanently divided without any further prospect of solution,” said Talat. “I believe that he will have to retreat [from his stance] sooner or later. Otherwise, he will be marginalized or overthrown by the Greek Cypriots.” Talat also added that the TRNC would suffer great economic losses if a protocol extending Ankara’s Custom Union is signed before the TRNC’s economic isolation is ended. Turkish Cypriots will elect a government on Sunday as the TRNC was forced to call early elections after the ruling coalition lost its slim majority last May. Opinion polls predict Sunday's elections will produce as fragmented a political picture as the last general elections. /Cumhuriyet/

Don't worry Boulio. The approval of Ercan airport depends upon Tassos' political stance concerning Cyprus problem. If he donesn't change his stance; Ercan airport will be approved by international community as soon as possible. You think TCs are the hostages of Tassos but you are completely mistaken.

Other than violating the 3rd Vienna Agreement and exporting settlers to Cyprus, Turkey solely supported the rights of TCs. Due to it's numerical disadvantage; TCs will always need Turkey's support for their security and development in this hungry merciles world. What important in this relation is to make Turkey acknowledge her mistakes that done by the governments of Turkey in the last 30 years and not let her to repeat them anymore. A good Turkey will always be for the interests of TC community.

As for the international law and security council resolutions; everyday new decisions are taken, new laws are added to international laws... New resolutions are made in Security Council in order to resolve the international disputes...

The game is almost over my friend. You still willing to resume this game until scoring max. points but unfortuantely time is over and so the game is over... The game machine will be shut down in early 2006.

LoL. Papadopoulos gave the finger to Annan, the US and the UK. Now he's going to listen to the threats of some guy who likes to role play as a prime minister?
