What kind of cell phone do you own?

Postby XristosN718 » Sat Jul 07, 2007 5:11 am

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum, and am really looking forward to posting here. I currently live in New York City, was born there. Parents (GC's) from kyrenia and both moved to America due to the invasion in 1974.

Well i guess i will start off my first post and ask what kind of mobile phones everyone currently has. I have the Samsung T629 slider.

A prehistoric Nokia which allows me to phone and SMS. You can keep all your fancy gadgets like cams,TV, Internet, GPS and other rubbish. There are better ad hoc devices for each of those like digicams, camcorders, TV sets, ADSL on computers with Firefox and Thunderbird, proper GPS devices etc. Why would I want to duplicate everything in a stupid do-all box of tricks that costs a small fortune and which serve only to reduce battery life.

A phone is meant for communicating: keep it that way.

A Samsung D820. Not a bad phone, but not great. It looks a nice phone, but the position of the earpeace is somewhat stupid. The loudspeaker is very low, so you can't hear anything on it, which is annoying as thats what I need.

I have an ageing Sony Ericsson P900, an amazing (do everything) HTC P3600 (they produce phones under other brand names) and a Vertu Signature - for which I have just been quoted 800 pounds to have the LCD screen replaced (Gulp!)
