Never got told anything about the size of my apartment effecting costs. Perhaps only counts if on a complex?

Anyways here is a breakdown of a typical bill I get once a month (well they build up till you have 3 normally):-

Elevators : 3.45
Cleaning of Stairs : 4.00
Saving account : 5.00
Cleaning/ office staff : 5.00
Electricity : 7.00

Cheers

Hi

Our communal charge is £25 CYP per month. This is to keep the place looking nice and clean, maintain and look after the pool and the gardens.

Hi Crivens - I make the total 24.45 per month so is that plus insurance and do you have a pool to clean on top of that ? it seems everybody has something different , I am guessing between £20 to £30 is average plus insurance, reading up it seems many people pay per annun rather than monthly but you pay 3 monthly, this really does help thanks very much
for taking the trouble to give me an example- cheers

Er, yeah, I noticed that afterwards. But the total at the bottom says £19.50. Hmmm. I've only paid more than £20 a couple of times though, and they were for big changes, such as the new door (was about £45 for that month). And no I don't have a pool. My paren't normally pay about £5 more per month than me for a smaller place (about 100m2 compared to about 130m2) but with a pool.

And yeah, I pay building insurance on top of that. No-one ever mentioned it to me when I bought the place, it isn't on the monthly bill, so I assumed I needed it seperatly. My parents did to, so I never questioned it.

Cheers
