Can anyone recommend the best (low) cost company for flights as we need to do a recce on our short list of apartments before signing on the ........ line. It's either that or just arrive and then view but I don't know how long it will take between 'viewing' and 'moving in' and don't want to shell out on expensive hotels or holiday lets if it can be avoided. Any help appreciated!

Not a lot of clear info here regarding have you visited before etc, anyone will tell you that it is best to come and rent for a while.

Yes three holidays and a month in a friends apartment last August, we've explored everywhere and decided on Paphos area and we are going to be renting for at least a year before we buy. Sorry that wasn't clear, we're just wary of making a decision to rent based on agents photographs. We were hoping to arrange some viewings in a 4 or 7 day break and just need to find cheap flights. Back to Google I guess, thanks anyway.

For my viewing trips I've always booked a last minute package for a week; much cheaper than booking flights & accommodation separately.

Thanks for you input. I have looked at Libra and other packages for last minute but then I found excellent cheap flights with XL.com and have arranged to stay in my friends apartment so we're sorted. Just can't wait to arrive and view our shortlist of properties.......
