GG, i didn't say she shouldn't go for a fereigner, please don't twist my words. What I thought was childish was the fact that she thought being with a foreigner was cool and nothing to do with love, respect, honour, cherish and anything else.

Too may kids these days do things for the wrong reasons and because they are cool. Noxt you'll be saying smoking is cool so it is OK for everyone to do it. Cmon.

Travel and study people and learn. You are young.Then you can make up your mind. Dont do anything in haste. You may regret it.

If anyone can explain why cypriot girl won't date a foreigner, would be great. I've even asked cypriots that I know, and they don't know either...

My mother dated an American....and married him....my father. She was the only one among her sisters that married someone who was not a Cypriot though.

Well, I don't know if this is the problem.
For example I only speak english and a little bit of french (beside my first language), so if it's about greek, "Bad Luck Smith!", I'll never learn this language because I don't like it.
My cypriot friend says he doesn't know why this happens, but he saw that (let's not say all), most of cypriot girls only date cypriots, on the other side, you see cypriots with all kind of women. This look kinda' weird to me.

Secret: many Cypriots (G/CS) can not manage to speak Greek. They prefer the Turkish/Latin/Syrian etc ,etc afftected Greek. May be this is the reason aa/you do not like the language bb) they prefer only G/cs date.
They are spending 12 years in a Greek speaking school (at least) and they finally speak no language. Is a miracle- it happens no where else- only in the central of Earth -Cyprus-

You are absolutely right. A Danish is Danish a German is German, who knows what is a Cypriot? And your mother, I am sure told you to not go out with unknown persons.
