who is providing the best adsl service and tv service .... i want high speed internet ,reliable service ,tv on demand and a wide choice of tv channels then again i may spend £ 500 and get NOVA hellenic and otenet as i here they are the best in southern europe

give me your views please as i think cyta are an embaressment no offence to those who work for them

Otenet doesn't have tv service. I think Primetel has the best TV but if money is no objection for you then you can get NOVA and then choose internet provider separately.

What is the highest ADSL speed available by any provider in Cyprus?

4Gbits but there is also 10Gbits in a few areas by Cablenet but thats cable not ADSL.

4 and 10 Mbps, that's quite good... The question is, is the actual speed of the connection as high? Because, for example, in Athens forthnet offers up to 24 Mbps but in reality it rarely reaches 18...

Thats not always down to the ISP though alexISS. It always depends on the quality of copper cables, interference in the area etc.

I found OTEnet to be a lot more quicker then CYTA. However, when problems arise, the service is not as fast or reliable as CYTAs. With PRIMETEL, you get a lot more services for your money. Its packed bundles includes phone, internet (256k connection) and TV channels for 28 pounds a month. In some areas, during peak hours, you will not be able to view PRIMETEL TV channels smoothly.

ok ...so what we are saying is that web access is unstable by cyta ...primetel tv is having technical issues ...
ok ...i think ill get nova hellenic and otenet
