Back to the 'No Place Like Home' programme I have read a number of posts saying there was a big spread in the Manchester Evening News, one of them said -

Hi just to let you know I live in Manchester and the day after this programme was aired, there was a full page spread in the Manchester Evening News explaining that when the family got back to Cyprus they all changed their minds and decided to live in Cyprus. Their decission was reached by their excellant life in Cyprus and the reality of living in England (ie polotics, drugs and violence) these were the words of the Father who was on No place like home.

But - do a search, look on the newspaper archive and it simply isn't there. There are stories about cute dogs or about 2p on a gallon of petrol, in fact all pieces are recorded on the archive, except this one. There has to be something going on here!

So what your saying is there's no truth in sirox101's posting are you?

Because i've only been here 6months and i'm fighting to get £1500 out of two Cypriots i imported cars for because they are greedy bastards,i'm not saying there all like that as i have many close Cypriot family friends that would bend over backwards for me as i would for them but i know where sirox101 is comming from as do many other Brits on this forum,but not everyone broadcasts it,as were supposed to be one happy family as were privleged to be here,but make no mistake we ain't anybodys mug's !!!!

You are misinformed about the bases re malaka, they're there because they benefit the British. We asked nicely for her majesty's bases to kindly vacate but are refusing.
