"It's all Makarios' fault" - Politki Kouzina

Postby magikthrill » Tue Feb 15, 2005 3:56 am

Hey everyone,

I just finished watching this movie (Politiki Kouzina - A touch of spice). Although it is not directly related to Cyprus I found its portrayal of Greco-Turkish relations very interesting.

Has anybody seen or heard of this movie?

YES Magikthrill, I've seen it, it's absolutely amazing.

The message I got was that the "source of all our problems" in the region, are neither "Greeks as a whole" nor "Turks as a whole" - but rather the nationalistic fanatics of each side.

I bought it in DVD format in Greece, but I don't think it is available elsewhere ...
