GG,

Don't pick on Miltiades for wanting to do the right thing by helping others who are less fortunate. What ever method of payment he chose was from his heart with the understanding that it was being sent to the Cancer Tulips through Fanos. There are a lot of "Corrupt Souls" in Cyprus these days, and as it turns out, Fanos is one of them. Fanos knew that he was not going to get rich with Miltiades's £100 Pounds, but he also forgot, that it would have made some difference to a needy person from the Cancer Tulip Center. That's how a "Corrupt Soul" thinks. They believe their need is greater than others, at all cost.

They do not deserve any sympathy I'm afraid.

Hi GG , When this crook first made the appeal , I went on Google and checked out the Cancer tulip credentials WHICH ARE ABSOLUTELY 100% GENUINE .Fanos , I never heard of him other than the fact for one reason or another was living in the occupied part of Cyprus .His appeal was in all essence a humanitarian one and I responded in view of my closeness with this dreadful decease. Never occurred to me that he was , as it turned out , a first class swindler .I have lost nothing , the Cancer association , although Fanos promised to hand over the donation have lost , but I have pledged the same amount regardless if Fanos does the decent thing or not. In fact I shall be in Cyprus soon and intend to visit the Cancer Tulip organisation .

It seems that the publicity given to the cancer tulips by Fanos was well worth Miltiades £100. :)
