Wait till China overtakes America and you will find out how " bad " the USA was. Have you ever seen how the Chinese deal with protestors , or how the deal with their own working class people , not forgetting the skinning of live animals . America is protecting its own interests just as any other self respecting super power.

I agree with that. If we have to have a superpower running the world, the USA is a better option than China or the former Soviet Union...

No GG, I am not. But i do feel very bitter about the US involvement in ensuring we lost our lands, birth places and so. I am bitter at their continued support to turkey by way of aid, arms, money and most of all not condeming them publically. I am v. angry that they were happy to bomb innocent people from afar in yugoslavia and iraq and afganistan killing innocent people women, children, old . And then have the audacity to keep telling the world that they are fighting terrorism. Who is the terrorist here? Whats the difference between this action and one where (as some here would say those evil bastards) someone blows himslef up with it.

So I am not evil by nature, my friends and family are testament to that but to the US i cannot bring myself to say anything good for the crime they commited against cyprus.

I am not saying that china is a better super power to have and if, i mena if that was to ever happen, well good save us all, i'll cross that bridge when i come to it.

For me to change my views on the US, i would want to to hear a public statement by the president or miss curry and rice telling turkey its time to take a hike, but that ain't never gonna happen so i will always hate them.

Our independence day would have been on 16th August, by we have been stuck with a double penetration by the US and UK governments. Sad!

patnheman, you have been nothing but rude and angry towards me because i happened to have been born in the USA. i didn't attack your country. i didn't bomb any innocent people. i am a former dental assistant (nurse), who now has a pet sitting business. i happened to have fallen in love with a Cypriot. i didn't know one thing about Cyprus until i met him. why does that make me bad, and why does that make me have to go away--far from this forum? i got 3 pages of buirthday wishes from forum members this week. I didn't even get a "happy birthday" wish from any of my sisters, but a bunch of strangers i never met sent me good wishes. sorry Pantheman, i am not going anywhere. i like it here, and for the most part, i like the people here. and if my Cypriot friend ever saw the light and asked me to join him in Cyprus, i would leave in a flash. (but don't worry, that is not going to happen).

Karma, I neither requested or want any explanations from GG. I was stating my position. Seems you always like to stick your oar in when its not wanted. Just go meditate and leave me in peace, thats my Karma.

GG, you keep harping on about a previous relationship with a cypriot, he dumped you, get over it, as i think i once said to you before find another guy of a different nationality had infest their forums.

I never accused you of bombing or hurting any one, my anger is with the US governments, so if you see fit to keep defending them, then unfortunately you will get to hear of my annoyance.
