Since 2004 the 4th of July is a day of celebration for Greeks as well so..

Happy independence day to the American members and happy EURO 2004 day to the Greeks and Greek Cypriots!

Why have I suddenly lost my appetite? Those Americans stuffing themselves with all the food in the world in one day, and enough food to feed the starving masses for a whole month or more. I blame King George III.
Enjoy your BBQs GG, its nothing personal.

don't worry DA, i am not taking it personally. i am also not going to any BBQs today. i am having a quiet celebration at home with a friend joining me for dinner tonight.
and i think you are getting this holiday confused with Thanksgiving, held in November. THAT one is all about food in excess... a celebration of all that we are thankful for, most notabley, our food, health and families.

Thats OK GG, but when I see the average size of a USA citizen I think they celebrate Thanksgiving everyday of the week.
