Hi, Whilst all you lucky people are enjoying the lovely weather in Cyprus, can you spare a thought for us unlucky enough to still be in the UK!!!

At this precise time my garden is completely white!!! We are having severe Hail Stones, rain and thunder and lightening......In JULY!! I have never seen such large Hail Stones in winter, let alone what is supposed to be our summer. :cry:

Please Builders, hurry up and finish our place in Cyprus and let me beable to enjoy some nice weather :lol:

I nearly got stuck in 1.5 feet water puddles everywhere. All drains are overflowing and there are rivers running down the roads with many roads closed.

My daughter just said that 2 girls from her class have been taken to hospital as they were struck by lightening when they were running with an umbrella and had to have their heart started! We must have just missed this as she was running out to my car at the same time! :shock:

Hi Niki,
We have the same problem here with the drains and roads, its really awful. Thankfully as far as I am aware we have had no casualties. I hope your daughters friends will be ok and glad that she missed it.

It really is bad the weather we are having over the last few weeks and apparently this is going to last for another few weeks yet!!! I hope its one of the times that the weathermen are wrong :roll:

well i can assure you its bloody hot here !!!!! i am sweating me nads off :shock:

it would be nice to get a bit of rain actually

with villawagon on this one. Its very uncomfortable heat atm, especially working in it. Some rain would be nice.

Hi Villawagen, Glad it is is nice and hot there, sorry about your nads though, maybe you should extend the talc around them too :lol:

Hi, What do you call uncomfortable heat? I love the heat but must admit that I prefer if it was cooler in the evenings. But I hate the rain, especially how we have had it here for the last few weeks.

I am craving some sunshine :lol:

I remember sunshine.............I think.....was that when that big ball of fire was in the sky? Saw some in Cyprus a month ago, then came back to York. Now I need a dingy just to get to the local.
