well alexis you provided plain b*llshit.I bashed you repeatdly by prooving Greece has no ethnic minority. If you can proove me wrong,do so,find me where it says a Turkish minority.I would be more than happy ONE person to proove me that Greece has an ethnic minority.

Regarding the Ellinaras that you supposedly arent....well,i didnt have to try hard about this one since you obviously ridiculed repeatdly yourself by supporting i am not Greek, only bsc i was critical of Greece. So save your fairytales for non-Greeks that might buy your story on how democratic Greece is.For US the rest Greek community,is just another day in Greece.

Regarding the healthy democratic nature of Greece's.....i am positive that even Irananians can express their views over the Internet without fear of being procecuted....

Here we go again... I QUOTED THE F***IN GREEK FOREIGN MINISTRY ACCEPTING THE EXISTENCE OF A TURKISH minority. Now tell me, even if everyone else is wrong and you are right and Greece does not recognize ethnic minorities... How would you rate those minorities' quality of living? Do answer this time

SN wrote:Regarding the Ellinaras that you supposedly arent....well,i didnt have to try hard about this one

You didn't try hard about anything, no arguments, no facts, just repeating the same crap that you were force-fed some time ago

Well I did post a survey by the Economist (hardly a philellenic institution) which stated that Greece is the ONLY full democracy in SE Europe, but you chose to not answer to that too... just repeat your crap...

Oh but I wasn't talking about expressing your views over the Internet buddy. Would you say you would be in danger if you publicly repeat what you have posted here in Greece? Try to be honest on this one[/b]

Anyway, you obviously are not in touch with reality, you've never EVER met with a minority member as I have and you know nothing of what THEY, not you or any other ignorant "human rights defender", think about the Greek state and its attitude towards them. Το κουβαδάκι σου και σ' άλλη παραλία

You DIDNT QUOTE F*CKING ANYTHING.I TRANSLATED THE TEXT FOR YOU.THE MINORITY IS OFFICIALLY REFERRED TO AS MUSLIM.WHAT INTERNALLY GREECE SAYS,MEANS NOTHING.

THE MINORITY IS REGARDED AS MUSLIM ONLY.I TOLD YOU THE FAIRYTALES TO NON-GREEKS.NOT TO ME.
I QUOTED THE CIA FACT BOOK WHICH EXPLICITLY SAYS THAT GREECE DOESNT HOLD RECORDS ON ETHNICITY
SINCE GREECE IS PRESUMMED AN ETHNICALLY PURE NATION APPART THE IMMIGRANTS AND GUEST WORKERS.

REGARDING ECONOMIST.WE KNOW THAT GREECE IS THE ONLY FULL DEMOCRACY IN THE BALKANS.GOD FORBID IF WE WERENT.YET FRANCE IS ALSO A FULL DEMOCRACY AND IS AS XENOPHOBIC AS GREECE.

GREECE AND FRANCE ARE THE EU LEADERS IN RASISM AND XENOPHOBIA.

REGARDING THE LATTER PART.OFF COURSE I WOULD BE AN OUTCAST IF I SAID PUBLICLY THAT I DONT WANT GREECE TO SUPPORT CYPRUS AND IF I SAID THAT I DEMAND THE RECOGNITION OF A MACEDONIAN MINORITY IN GREECE AS WELL AS A TURKISH ONE.OFF COURSE I WOULD BE AN OUTCAST IF I WAS TO PUBLICLY REFER TO FYROM AS MACEDONIA PUBLICLY.OFF COURSE I WOULD BE AN OUTCAST AND EVEN ENDANGER MY LIFE IF I SAID PUBLICLY THAT GREECE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MACEDONIAN NAME AND THAT GREECE SHOULD STOP DESTABILIZING THE BALKANS BY EMBARGOING AND BLACKMAILING NEIGHBOURING COUNTRIES SUCH AS MACEDONIA.

SO SAVE IT FOR THE TURKS THAT MIGHT BUY IT.....

You've crossed the border of stupidity and entered the realm of insanity. Here's the fucking quote again, in English this time as provided by the Greek foreign ministry:

In 1922 the Muslim minority in Thrace numbered 86,000 people. According to the latest general census (1991) it numbers approximately 98,000 to a total of 338,000 inhabitants of Thrace, i.e. 29% of the population. The minority is composed of three ethnic groups : 50% of the minority are of Turkish origin, 35% are Pomaks (an indigenous population that speaks a Slavic dialect and espoused Islam during Ottoman rule) and 15% are Roma. Each of these groups has its own spoken language and traditions. It was for this reason that the drafters of the Lausanne Treaty defined it as a religious minority.

See? In english and for everyone outside of Greece to read. GREECE RECOGNISES THREE ETHNIC GROUPS IN THE MINORITY OF THRACE. P E R I O D

GREECE DOESNT RECOGNIZE A TURKISH MINORITY.IT RECOGNIZES ONE MUSLIM MINORITY WHICH CONSISTS OF 3 ETHNICAL GROUPS AMONG WHICH IS THE TURKISH ONE.

PERIOD.I TRANSLATED IT FOR YOU.IN FACT YOU KEEP ON REDICULING YOUR SELF SINCE THE LAST SENTENCE OF YOUR TRANLATION SPEAKS VOLUMES.THE MINORITY IS A RELIGIOUS ONE CONSTISTING OF 3 ETHNIC ELEMENTS.IT IS NOT AN ETHNIC ONE!!!!!!!!!!

GREECE WILL NEVER RECOGNIZE AN ETHNIC MINORITY.I BASHED YOU TWICE QUOTED THE CIA FACT BOOK AND TRANSLATING YOUR QUOTES.YOU BASHED YOURSELF AGAIN BY OFFERING THE TRANSLATION OF THE ABOVE TEXT.

It was for this reason that the drafters of the Lausanne Treaty defined it as a religious minority

Apart from the Turkish minority,Greece should aslo recognize a Macedonian minority, under that very name:MACEDONIAN since a good % of the Slavophones Greeks do not ethnically identify with Greece but with Macedonia(some with Bulgaria as well).

Save you bullshit your country and my country is the shitwhole and Hitler of the Balkans that can be easily compared not only to Turkey but to Iran as well.....

And so what? Why when the Turks are so aggressive against Greece and Cyprus should Greece make anything easy for them? So later on the "Turkish minority" will declare that they are not a minority but a politically equal community and claim 50% of the country? In the case of Turks the saying "Give them an inch and they will take a mile" matches perfectly.

Turks are our enemy and they should be treated in that way.

Minorities
Main article: Minorities in Greece
The only minority in Greece which receives special treatment is the Muslim minority (Μουσουλμανική μειονότητα) in Thrace, which amounts to approximately 0.95% of the total population. Its members are predominantly of Turkish, Pomak and Roma ethnic origins. Other recognized ethnic minorities include approximately 35,000 Armenians, and 5,500 Jews.

You really are a joke.
Is the Greek government saying that the Turks of Thrace are NOT Turks? NO
Is the Greek government saying that the Turks of Thrace are indeed Turks? YES
Is the Greek government saying that the Turks of Greece are actually Greeks (not just Greek citizens) who happen to be muslim? FUCKIN NO
Is the Greek government saying that the Turks of Greece are forbidden to declare their "Turkishness" or practice their religion or customs? FUCKIN NO
Is the Greek government labeling the SUM of the three ETHNIC MINORITIES in Thrace as a MUSLIM minority, since it consists of THREE ethnicities? HELL YES!
Is Turkey claiming all of the muslim population of Thrace to be of Turkish origin? HELL YES, and that's the reason Greece keeps the term "muslim minority" when referring to the SUM of the minorities, to protect the two weaker minorities from forced Turkification.

Now stop wasting my time. You don't have the ability to bash me or anyone else other than yourself

So what the FUCK are you rambling about? What is the restriction that the Greek government forces to those minorities?
