Hi I'm looking for a bit of advice, we are thinking about leaving the lovely cold and wet Scotland for the much sunnier Cyprus and we really don't know where to start.
Whats the first thing we should do have been looking the web to see what kind of houses there is and jobs and most important school for our 4year old. But not really getting anywhere fast if anybody can give me a bit of info that would be fantastic thanks n xxx

All depends on where u wish to land...

In Lemesos:
Houses - anything above 300CYP if you are three.... for a decent living.
Jobs - I see plenty in the cyprus weekly and others.... Depends on what are you keen to do and in which profession.
Schools - Good ones... American Academy, Logos etc etc

Hi Nadine,

The legal stuff you can take of after arrival, eg residency paperwork, being part of the EU it's not a big deal. My advice would be to rent first and see whats on the market, and there is a lot of building still going on. Limassol will be easier to find work than Paphos but it all depends what your talents are..
