Karma it was nice to have you back and the pics were also fab. When you visit the north again forget taking a GC guide with you. They will only show you what they want to show. How disappointing. Pity I wasnt there!

Hi Deniz,
I was in North only few hours in Kyrenia and it was greate but seeing borders on an island and being asked for my passport was sad..
North seems very beautiful too except the new built villas for the British buyers and except the military zones ofcourse :(

weird pictures coming soon

Dying to see more of your weird photos. I agree, I hate divided Cyprus. Dont blame me though. What I hated in the south was the "Abbatoir" in close proximity to my old village. What we were used to was waiting for the weekend and asking a shepherd if he was slaughtering anything that week. Fresh meet was always once a week. My god and how healthy we were. I promise you I am no vegetarian, but meat once a week was more than enough. I suppose times have changed and the masses need to be fed.

I am no vegetarian either,DA,but I think meat once a week is more than enough for most people....Times have changed all right,we are now encouraged to eat until we vomit....Obesity is rampant in most Western countries, and it is definitely not healthy....I have beens struggling with my weight now for about 3 years, and managed to lose about 5 kilos in all...

When i was in Cyprus we ate meat about once a fortnight (our own produce),but had lots of legumes, vegetables and fruit (again all our own produce)....helped along by homemade bread and chorek (our own stoneground wheat flour) and plenty of hellim/halloumi,again from our own goats or sheep milk....And you know what we used to be given as a treat????Coca cola,Nestle can milk, and white shop brouhgt bread we called "francola"......Mind boggles....
