miltiades, I think the actions of this individual (if they are as you state), do not deserve your offer of two options, he should be reported to the authorities immediately and subjected to as much bad publicity as possible.

I have also encountered an unscrupulous scavanger in my travels, he uses the misfortunes of the poor in order to increase his social standing, unfortunately I am not permitted to reveal his identity since I would be in breach of confidentiality if I did so, I therefore block his every move and thus prevent him from further malfeasance.

Why on earth Eliko would I want to "expose "an individual in this fashion if the facts are not as I state !!! It is not just a question of exposing this vagabond it is also to protect those who to charity knowing that their donations will end up with the charity and not in the pockets of some unscrupulous pilferer.

Fanos, if you have encouraged people to advance you loans or make donations to any charity and have failed to honour the commitment, you have gained a pecuniary advantage by deception.

Such an act is a crime in any country and you should re-imberse any that have suffered as a result of your actions.

There is little point in defending a hopeless position, you have been caught 'Bang to rights' and should be grateful that the victims of your scams are prepared to be lenient with you.

Having carried out the necessary searches have established that the following is true of the legal situation in the "TRNC"
"A person is guilty of an offence if by any deception he dishonestly obtains a money transfer for himself or another "
Fanos did just that but only worst since he fraudulently and without authorization , by his own admittance , of the Turkish Cypriot Cancer Association , used their name and their noble cause to obtain donations that ended up in his own pocket.The fact that some four months later , and having been found out , he now tells us that he will pass the funds to the TCCA ,( and he is not to be believed ), is irrelevant the facts are clear and well documented. My case will be prepared this morning and should he fail to act as requested in my first post , I shall proceed by not only submitting the case to the authorities but by l also instructing a T/C lawyer to proceed further.

Miltiades, I am sorry but I have to agree with Fanos on this one. I had exposed this crook long long time ago and yet you choose to trust him and send him money. You can only blame yourself for this.
