I am coming to cyprus very soon and I want to visit some villages and taste some real home made food.
Any ideas?

If you are going to be in the Paphos area and have a hire car,I thoroughly reccomend Yanis's at Kathikas.Lovely food,great service,a warm welcome and you can enjoy a cigarette without being stoned to death! There are also 3 really good tavernas/restaurants in Peyia that are all different but all excellent,Namely Sophies,Peyia Tavern and I have forgotten the other one,but it is in the middle of the village opposite Peyia tavern.

theres a good one in fasoula (limassol area). 10 pounds/person gets you a 1 hour steady flow of meze and a couple big bottles of beer.
