Since God is omnipotent, can he build a stone so heavy that even he would not be able to lift it?

God also gave us instincts. The instincts of reproduction and self-preservation are the cause of our sinning. If those instincts were absent we would all be saints. And extinct. Btw, there is boredom in the "celestial world"? Not exactly the afterlife I wish I'll get...Get Real! wrote:In a nutshell you’re asking if God can defeat himself! There is no celestial world I'm afraid, my question will never be answered...
Get Real! wrote:As you mention, our ability to reproduce and built-in self-preservation can only aid in the longevity of humans as a species so I am inclined to suspect that God merely intended to PRESERVE his play-mat a bit longer for his own personal reasons but it appears to have backfired as humans also tend to “sin” by having these properties.
Get Real! wrote:Of course, what determines a “sin” is fully configurable by the creator of the play-mat.
Get Real! wrote:With regards to the existence of a celestial world, if God exists then there must be a celestial world even if he is the only entity within it so I guess we would have to prove the first to get the answer to the second.
