It is the worst crime for you to use the political rights you stole from us to use it against us. That is how you have accomplished anything, if you have.

What is recognized and acknowledged is that we are to be an equal community with you in the RoC with a seperate zone and you are in denial of this.

We didn't stole from you anything. You stole our land and you are facing the consequences. As I said you can stop the illegalities, return the land, and take your rights in the RoC.

You stole our political rights. Our rights in the RoC is stated in the Resolution of the U.N. which you have been denying for the past 20-30 posts.

Those are not your rights in the RoC. Your rights in the RoC are stated in the constitution of RoC as agreed in 1960. As Viewpoint told you for anything else to become legal our agreement is required.

@Murataga,

You are full of nonsense my friend. If your rights (as described in UN resolutions) have been stolen , then WHY you don;t go to the UN and report it, or even better get a resolution? Why don't you go to the EU to do the same? I can equally claim whatever nonsense comes to my mind and claim you stolen my rights you know, but unless I prove it and have a creditable body confirm it, they will always remain just that:NONSENSE.

And btw I already explained you a couple of times what the concept of political equality means in the UN resolutions. In fact I quoted you the relevant clarification from the very same UN resolution. This political equality states CLEARLY that does not mean arithmetic equality. It refers to the equality before the law of the Federal states! It does not even refer to the equality of communities because each state is expected to have people from both communities.

To give you an example of your distorted view of "equality" let's suppose after a solution the TC Federal state says we are equal we want 50% of the Federal funds for roads and for education. The Central state says sure, yes you are equal, now each one of your citizens must pay 4 times more taxes than the citizens of the GC state so that you contribute 50% of the funds-and hence claim 50% of it! Would you like this sort of equality my friend?

Therefore the concept of Political equality is very clearly explained in the UN resolutions and refers to a Federal solution TO BE.

Until that point is reached the status of the TC community is described in 1960 constitution....

Piratis wrote:turkish_cypriot, you denying the history of this island can not change it.

Have they taught you at your schools about the history of this island?

Cyprus is Hellenic from the time the term "Hellenic" first appeared.

Have you ever read anything about our language and dialect?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arcadocypriot

Have you ever heard anything about Aphrodite one of the 12 Gods of Olympus who was from Cyprus?

After the Ottoman rule we also have a Turkish minority in Cyprus. So what? How does that change who we are?

What is not true is the fake Cyprus the Turks are trying to create in the part they illegally occupy. They ethnically cleansed the original inhabitants and replaced them with Turks, they rename our towns and villages, they destroy our churches, they produce a ton of lies and propaganda and they do everything they can to hide and destroy what the true Cyprus is.

So in the same way we accept who you are, you should also accept who we are and the history of this island, and stop trying to destroy it just because you don't like it.

Piratis you just don't get it....before the mainlanders came we were all CYPRIOTS and happy that way!

When they came and poisoned you THATS when we started hearing people shouting ''CYPRUS IS GREEK''.

Right now you are more Greek than you are Cypriot and its evident from everything you write and THAT is the problem.

Im not trying to destroy anything, everything that Cyprus stood for that could of been destroyed WAS by your motherland, and then by mine...if Cyprus was so important to ''Hellenism'' your motherland would of done a lot more to save you...WAKE UP!

You have live in a state that was illegaly created by force that will never be accepted, as presently constituted, by the civilised world. As for the Turkish military, they were in a position to solve the Cyprus Problem in July 1974 without the need to "conquer" 37% of the island. If you care to read the details of the negotiations between the first and second part of the invasion you will see that whatever concessions were made to Turkey that country was determined to occupy a large part of Cyprus. I do wish you would stop telling me to get my facts straight, its both childish and tedious.

Jerry, I "admire" your stamina but also naivety to be continuously trying to make sense with a fanaticized “propaganda machine,” through the employment of logical arguments!

What a waste of time!

I think you're right Kifeas, trying to engage a lightweight mouthpiece like Murataga in a logical argument is a waste of time. As for the ability of his masters to run there own "country" take a look at my 2.47pm post yesterday, the dialling codes for the "TRNC Embassy" in London are seven years out of date - ah! it must be the fault of the Greek Cypriots and the embargo.

We have passed many invaders like you in the past.

Jerry, you really do need to get your facts right because you seem to be another one who likes reading selective history and and provide own interpretations, helping us go in circles.

Most of the topics you touch upon had been discussed in this forum before and explained in great detail - by historic facts and those who lived through it like myself.

I will not go through the same things all over again but I do suggest you read through some of the old threads on this Cyprus Problem forum and read the previous discussions - you will find abundant historic information.

Yes, I do agree some subjects are getting childish and tedious but not for reasons you mentioned. Because, every time another member decides to indulge in things discussed before, we start the same arguments all over again - so much so, most of the time I know exactly who is going to say what! BOORING!

You also need to learn about the ethics of sending posts in forums! You are not supposed the change the original posts sent by others WHEN QUOTING THEM!

It's a form of dishonesty and does not speak a lot for a person who can do that! If this is the sort of attitude on will expect - I suggest the TCs stop wasting their breath with you and get on with a more useful thread than this one!
