yes i just helped a cypriot finish his 1.5jz and it looks very interesting.....
well there are reports of people running 500hp+in america on standard NA pistons, lower the comp ratio with a 2mm metal head gasket, some people think thats cheating but its not really alot of people dont understnad how bullet proof the 2jz series engine really is (not saying u dont u seem to no a fair bit)

its not the VVTi, VVTi supras werent out till 98 mine a 93:( could easily run with a t68 turbo about 400rwhp with no piston problems agreed a t68 would be overkill at 400hp but then if i wanted low comp pistons hehehehe say hello to 500 hp woop woop. just somethings in the pipe line hey dude but she is still faster than all the integra type r's u see around cyprus. plus people just see supra and think 340hp standard and dont wanna race anyway lol so i dont mind at the moment

320hp sandard they were but only the US models as they run steel turbines
I think JDM were only 280hp due to smaller injectors and the turbine wheels had some issue too?

But yeah, 2JZ clearly best 6 cylinder engine ever made. In th US they run 1000hp on them without cracking the motor open

I wouldn't think your NA one would be faster than Type R's? When my car was still a 1.8 I raced an NA supra (auto though) and easily beat it, and my 1.8 was no match to Type R
Is there much of a race scene here? Seems to me it's such a small place that at some stage you would have raced everyone

Nissan seems to be uncommon here as well? It seems mostly Civic's and Mirages are modified here
And 500hp... Cyprus roads are so poor!
In Australia, you can use 500hp!
I've been driving before coming here 2 weeks ago my friends 350hp at the wheel 180SX
Quick thing!

sorry mate havent been in work will be there tomoz so found out for you. spetz as for your car in australia, doesnt look good from a law point of view but if u say the get a lancer 2 door here with a 13kw engine and your is 150kw but the original was 80kw ish then surely u can just ship your engine over :D

UK spec TT supras were also 320bhp, jap spec are rated lower because of a gentles agreement with jap car companys and jap govt regarding cars built specificall for jap roads, ie bing not allowed to produce more than 280hp, so the claim 280hp:D hence the NSX is rated at 280hp ive seen jap spec TT supras at 315ish on dynos standard. have killed many type r's

It's not just the engine though...
It has Tein coilovers, every bush in the suspension has been changed, swaybars, strut braces, it's got Type R recaro's on Evo 6 rails, climate control, MR JDM spec interior, bodykit, halo lights, carbon bonnet, slotted brakes, etc etc
Just too many things on it...
Also, if I am doing another engine conversion, it's gonna be Evo engine, or a K engine into a Civic
Speaking of which, can you check up if you can get me an H brace? It's CJ4A chassis

It's not certain that I am bringing the car here. I am not certain I am staying here, and even if I am, might just buy a car here. Thinking of FTO, CTR, ITR, 5th Gen Prelude or Evo if the budget stretches

PS. I'll send you an sms so you got my number once I get a number :)
No cell phone number here yet :(

right the F150, at the moment the law still stands at over 4pounds per CC the register if the engine is over 3ltrs you cand rive in cyprus on your british plates for 6 months but then the car will have to be registerd on cyp plates.

as far as im aware 10% of the UK value of the car is to be paid as import duty i posted a link in this thread near the start have a look thru it, the laws in that thread still apply
