What the world recognizes is Republic of Cyprus. Whats your political status in Republic of Cyprus?

You choose to be part of an illegal entity that the world does not recognize. Therefore you choose to throw your political status out of the window and become outlaws.

Come back to Republic of Cyprus if you want your political status that the world recognizes. As long as you choose illegality your political status is zero as a consequence.

Unification is TWO communities with politically equal status, where you are nothing more than just ONE, coming together. It is not a Hellenic Republic with a TC minority.

When are we going to have the maturity to realise that we cannot change the past,people....the only thing we can do is to learn from it....And number one lesson should be :We are in this mess because we couldn't let go of our origins...And because we chose to let others highlight our differences,and force us down the path of division and ethnic cleansing....
But we can do something about the future...we can chose to highlight our similarities...Our common homeland,traditions,culture,humour,food,world view,sense of identity...We can learn to respect our differences and learn from each other....How much richer we would all be if we could all speak each others languages,and pray (if we want) to each others' God (which happen to be the same one,for believers)....come on people,are we that far gone down the path of bitterness,resentment, and dare I say hatred,that the only thing that will solve our problem is the extinction of one of our communities????I refuse to believe it....We can and will build trust from bottom up....We will manage to become one nation....We will learn how to live together as one people,loving and respecting our homeland....There is plenty of goodness and compassion in all of us to make that happen.We just have to recognise the walls we have built in our heads and our hearts....Once they come down,the rest will follow....like day follows night...

I agree with what you say but in reality it apparently doesn't happen that way. I am personally tired of Turks insisting that part of my country is Turkish. If they like it that way, then they will get something similar in return. I will treat them like they treat me, and not better.

Yes, I deny it. We are the ones who run the one and only legitimate state in Cyprus because you choose illegality instead of being part of RoC and therefore your political status is zero. Our political status is that of an equal EU member, much higher than the pseudo state status that you choose to have.
