no one can convert anyone by force unless u get guidence from allmighty.attempt is not to make convert ppl but infact bring ppl closer to eachother and now that all faiths actually teach same thing but when it comes to practice unfortunatly ppl are not following even basic beleives infact ppl are after non-importnat things which wouldnt lead us anywhere terrorism or beating up wives or many other things are personal acts and we are trying people to think and take a collective approach towards islam rather than looking at the behaviours of few ppl

If anything good is coming out of the present situation it is the fact that not having muslims in the south makes it a safer place to live.
Now before anyone starts I lived in Cyprus, in the 60s, for two years and resided in Limassol alongside Greek and Turkish Cypriots, today it would be different because muslim extremists/insurgents would use the Turkish Cypriot ares to hide in and prepare for their acts of terrorism.
I fully agree with live and let live but at the moment we do all the letting but it seems the living and killing is done by sections of the muslim community.
You won't see thousands demonstrating and burning effigys in Pakistan this morning over the recent happenings in the UK, would same be said if someone had drawn a silly cartoon or written a book?

We do need more high profile and successful BNP candidates in the UK, this will send out a warning shot to any group of foriegners who abuse our hospitality.
I visted their (BNP) website and found nothing wrong, in actual fact they seem to say the same as most countries; "This is our country, these are our customs, these are our laws, if you don't accept all of this then you are free to leave" I can't see anything racist in what I have written.

I'm a new member and concerned to see that nothing changes as far as the human psychi is concerned. Does it really matter what religion a person is as long as there is tolerance. All the religions on the planet profess some form of exclusivity into paradise/heaven/valhala etc and all have throughout their evolution gone from extremes of view. The crusades and the inquisition represented a dark side to christianity as does islamic fundamentalism today. There are good and moderate people in all faiths and they are the majority. The extremist are the minority and we mustnt forget that. Likewise we mustnt vent misdirected misplaced anger and hate at any one race just because of the heanous acts of the minority as that is just what that minority wants. Racism breeds intolerance whatever guise it takes. We all evolved from a common ancester lets not forget that. If you doubt that check your genetic profile you might be surprised as to the results!?

Southerner, there are many Muslims in the south, as far as I am aware there is no problem between them and their neighbours, I think it is because they have lived together for so long they are unable to find anything worth arguing about, perhaps they have grown weary of political clap-trap, (That may be the way forward !).

I didn't know that there are many muslims in the south at this moment, what I do know is that the problem when I was there previously was mainly the politicians, Limassol did not have obvious demarcation lines as Nicosia had at that time.

there have never been in cyprus "muslim extremists".
we had nationalists extremists on both sides, but never religious extremists.

cyppro is NOT a religious problem.
