:) Don't misunderstand me, Lena. I may not "belly dance," but I dance what one might call a "modified tsiftetelli" and a mean zeimbekiko (always lady-like though ;)). You see, while I was being "cultivated," whenever I would venture onto the dance floor at Greek cultural events, my mother would whisper in my ear, "don't bounce, don't shake" (by the time my sister came along, my mother was too tired to bother). If given the slightest impression that I was bouncing or shaking, she'd send my father onto the dance floor, and I'd suddenly find myself dancing with him mpallo style. :)

Denizaksulu, will you be one of the men joining us??? :)

Filitsa...I will do the belly dance since I have the belly according to Deniz is needed and you will do the zeimbekiko!

By the way...I never shake my belly or any other part in frond of my family...my mum still beg me to dance in a family marriage

Lena; Whose marriage is this? Yours? Well I never. Its nice to see a real bride dance at her own real wedding.   I know I mentioned wobbly bits, but yours? No. Sorry for the generalisation.
Regards
DA

Deniz my dear I said family marriage...not my marriage...somebody else is getting married and is a family member.

As for my wobby bits...why not mine? What is wrong with mine?? :? :(

Hi Lena,
Life is complicated as it is. I try very hard not to get personal. Yet I fail. I dont know you that well, you might be an 'ironig board' for what I know. On the other hand with all the Cypriot food and the weddings with their food, an ironing board' is unlikely. Ooops!

I hate to tell you this, it is something I am very familiar with. I am talking about the device on which you 'press' your clothes with an iron. Sorry I am kidding. Look Lena I am blushing

I am taking a deep breath now. Extremely skinny ladies who are deficient on the top are refered to as being 'ironing board's . Sorry, its bit cruel and crude.

Please change the subject.

Sorry to be pedantic Deniz but I am trying to emulate those on the religion thread  The reference to the ironing board is usually only made to the stomach and not the lady lumps higher up. I have always heard it used in a sentence when referring to an ironing board stomach which of course means flat and straight.

The religion thread was going so well
