Hello there

Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. Am 44..I do not live in cyprus but am looking to move out there - will be visiting the north in September and wanted to make new acquaintances and friends. Wondered if anyone out there lives in the kyrenia area. Am building a coaching practice and also also training in web design

Look forward to making new contacts

You must know you are going into illegal territory. Unrecognised by any nation on the planet (expect the aggressing forces of turkey). Any money you spend there setting anything up is doomed. Think again on your chosen location, and BTW welcome to the site. Be prepared to take some sh#t and give it, like i'm about to get for posting this. Aggghhhhh!!!

Pantheman , I think its only fair that the lady should be aware that this part of Cyprus is under Turkish occupation , and most importantly it is not a recognised entity , therefore your pointing out this is quite in order.I would like to also welcome the lady and wish her all the very best. She may rest assured that the T/Cs are one of the most welcoming people on this planet and have generous characteristics that are so evident amongst all Cypriots.

The lady only said she was "visiting" the North...There are thousands of visitors every year visiting the "illegal" teritory...have you heard anything happening to any one of them?
If she wants to spend her money setting up anything that's up to her....at 44,she is old enough to make her own decisions..give her a chance to come and evaluate the situation herself..

You are spot on...generous hospitality is a Cypriot tradition evident in ALL Cypriots & we are ALL proud of it..
