Do we have any divers among us? and could you make any recomendations for diving places allover cyprus

I’m a Divemaster… do you dive?

Great place to learn here (warm clear water, no tides, etc. but not a great deal of wild life. best dive is the Zenobia in Larnaka harbour if you are advanced or above.

nearly half to finish divemaster but dont have the time now. i have done rescue, advance

apart from Zenobia are there any other interesting places?

There are a few interesting dives – sea caves at Agia Napa, the Amphitheatre at Coral Bay – not much wildlife to be seen compared to say the Red Sea though...

well they are saying that some years ago things were a lot different, but nowdays with all the abuse nothing left

Coral bay for example used to have corals some years ago, but i didnt know about the amphitheatre was it submerged?

It’s a natural ‘amphitheatre’ you can swim to the bottom of it and watch the waves breaking over the top. Used to be some fish there but the last time I went it was bare.

The best dive really is the Zenobia – not only is it an amazing wreck but because you can’t drag nets across it there are lots of fish too.
