I was with a blind man last day.He is living with his sister together.I was working in his house & I was in his house all the day.At the end of the day, after I finish my work, they prepared a dinner & invited me.
I sit opposite the blind man & we started to talk about some stuff while eating. We talked a lot of things but a word from him is effected me too much.
One of the topics was the praying, ezan(the sounding from mosque to invite for praying by the imam) & going to mosque for praying.
He knew that I am studying a foreign country. And he asked me some difference between this foreign country & Turkey. While we were talking about this topic, ezan(the invition for pry.it sounds 5 times everywhere in Turkey) started. And I remembered ezan is not acceptable in the country which I study in.And I said him about this. And the talk started about this invition to mosque to pray. I said that, we are not have to go to mosque 5 times for praying everyday.WE can do all of them at home. But it is better to go to mosque I said.Because as a muslim, we should know the way to mosque in our town.
And he said that 'I have a privilege'.'And I can't go to mosque alone. But I go when I find someone to go together.'
His first sentence effected me too much.Because he didn't say like that 'I am blind' or 'I am defective, disabled, I have a problem,etc..'
I know that most of you will can not make a relation between this event & the ''Cyprus Privilege'' But some of you will understand that this is something like a word play.
If we want to solve the problems, at first we must see them as a 'privilege'. Not like a problem. And we must see only the good & suitable solutions to talk on & discuss about. We musn't pay attention to waste talks. We musn't mind the provacative actions. They are all the fiction of the politics. And also I mean that in the same time, we can't solve these 'privileges' with politics. It is just in our hands as young generation.
I think so.Thanks for paying attention.
Cyprus is a ''privilege'' to show the world how a christian Greek Cypriot can live in peace with a muslim Turkish.
Not a 'problem'
I want from you to change the word 'problem' from your mind with 'privilege' about all Cyprus related stuff.
So, we can start with changing this category's name as 'Cyprus Privilege'
I repeat. We must solve it at first in our minds. Thanks again..
