I've just read that it has been reported in a Manchester local paper that the family have moved back to Cyprus! What a shock!

Yay!

Well, just watched this on ITV2 out the outcome was they wanted to move back to UK. It was very one sided I have to agree. So they plan to move back to the UK, but they have to sell their villa first, this will take years!!!

ps Cyprusgrump, apologies for not calling you last week I didnt take your number over and was unable to get to my email. I am back to Pissouri in September though.

Just watched the programme, quite frankly unless I had been told I would hardly have recognised that it was Cyprus other than Aphrodites Rock. They made Cyprus look extremely unnatractive.
Spain would have come to mind especialy now that I know that you have to watch out for muggers ans bag snatchers.
It was all so false verging on bribery with the young son along with the emotional blackmail from the aging mother.
What I found most surprising was that they had not seen any of their familys for four years.

i have been here 6 months ,and i am seeing more of my family now then i have seen in 20 years in uk .its great to have all your nieces and nephews calling you uncle .i am the eldest of 9 so i have a lot. for they to say they aint seen family for 4 years .and to leave here for manchester .sad bastards

Apparently - they changed their minds and decided to stay in Cyprus after all.

Must have finally come to their senses, or maybe they just used the programme for an all expenses paid trip back to Blighty to visit their friends and family they hadn't seen for 4 years
