There is an old saying ........

Postby kafenes » Tue Jun 26, 2007 5:02 pm

In my teenage years while at school in London I used to stay with my grandparents and there was not a day that my grandmother wouldn't come up with a few 'old sayings', some in Armenian but most of them in Turkish, as that was her main language. I used to love them and thought how true they were. Pity I can't even think of one right now. Can anyone remind me of some of them? Turkish, Greek or whatever.
