whats the worst place you have ever slept in

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

Hmmm. Worst hotel was the Imperial in Blackpool. Supposed to be this really good hotel where heads of state have been. Rubbish. My room was the size of my bathroom, had furniture that looked like my Nan had bought in 1935, and a small colony of flies that had obviously eaten half of the window sill. Nice. Complained about the flies and they said they would leave a fly spray can in the room. Erm, slightly better service than that please (and they didn't leave the spray in the end)... Totally better to go to holiday inn and places like that if you ask me. Nice swimming pool gym area though.

Worst place though has to be a tie between a new years eve (about 1990) night in a thorn bush on the beach at Benllech, or a lumpy camping site metres away from a cliff (drop) somewhere on Anglesey. Ouch. Luckily in both cases lots of alcohol took the pain (temporarily) away. :)

Cheers

Nice one Crivens I ran a training course for some staff at the Imperial about 4 years ago what a sh*thole.

The sad thing is it still carries a 4 star rating and charges around £80 a night

you crack me up, VillaWagen!

as for me, i am so old, i can't remember anymore. so i'd have to go with what i can remember, and that would be the night i spent in a hostal in Madrid in April. it was a clean place, but very noisy, and the shower was the smallest one i had ever seen.

Wow reading these stories...
I think mine isn't anywhere as bad but here goes

I had to sleep in a car once!
Me and a friend went fishing and we had a tent but didn't get on time at a tent site so had to sleep in the car the first night
This was a couple of years ago...

I have spent many nights 'in the doghouse' it's easy for a man to cock up but impossible for his missus to forget.

Yeah, we were going for a weekend a few years ago and it was £80 a night. We basically looked for the highest rated and priciest hotel we could find, as compared to where we came from (Ascot area) the prices were all cheap as hell and we wanted one with a pool. Plus because of work commitments it was likely to be the only "holiday" we were going to get all year apart from Xmas (oh, apart from an Alton Tours long weekend where we stayed in a holiday inn type effort and was miles better than the Imperial at not even half the price). It had a nice bar though. Very ornate.

Cheers

In a pig swill bin outside my old primary school, a crypt and anywhere I've woken up with my ex.
