How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

The time for just blaming Turkeey and talking over our heads is over and the people that are joint owners are telling you that enough is enough so you can stop all this crap.

The only thing that can put a smile on my face Zan is for my country/government to extend its control to the four corners of her rightful territory and for all her citizens, regardless of ethnic background, to unite towards this cause for a free, democratic, and prosperous Cyprus but unfortunately that only looks achievable through strife. Never has a morning broken that wasn’t good enough to liberate Cyprus.

I'm sorry Zan but I never believed in "communities" and probably never will.

Margaret Thatcher will be proud of you because she spent her time trying to destroy communities and now we are trying to build them back up.

You seem to have made up your mind that Cyprus belongs to the GCs and we belong to you also. This has gone on throughtout history in the Greek mind and is proved in other so called Greek islands. The fear we have of this happening in Cyprus is very real and people like you go a long way to prove it. We have been looked down on long enough GR and you WILL NOT get that ever. We are a proud and righful joint owners of the island and we will not give that up for anything. It is my home and it is my birthright.

This is not a wind up is it , ? And old Miltiades has fallen for it !

I suspect you're not following the moves of the department of defense here in Cyprus. For the last 4-5 years the DoF has gone from a DEFENSIVE military program to the acquisition of OFFESIVE weaponry.

The “community” factor is the CANCER implanted by Turkey in Cyprus to achieve her diabolical aims. Cypriots need to STREAMLINE themselves into CYPRIOT CITIZENS of diversity…

Whom you pray to in your home or mosque doesn’t worry me.

What kind of adult sex you have in your home doesn’t worry me.

Which special days you observe and why doesn’t worry me.

Which language you speak doesn’t worry me either etc...

Can the TC people adjust themselves under such a modern and democratic arrangement or do they insist on redefining the very essence of Cyprus in line with Turkey’s ideologies? If it’s the latter then they cannot be treated as Cypriots anymore but as some entity intent to take away from Cyprus rather than contribute.

The cancer, as seen by other perspectives, is the Cypriot citisens story that is fed to us by Greece and the "RoC". The fact that we were just that in the first ever republic formed on the island and that was not good enough for you. Taking the recipe for bread and calling it cake is not going to fool anyone GR. The fact that two distict communities exist and with the right will and conditions, in difficult circumstances I might add, can live together as equals is another thing all together. Given our history, I demand that my peoplesplace in yprus be assured and protected within the constitution.[/code]

"So called" Greek Islands? Dreams, dreams, continue to sleep - pls do not interrupt your dreams.
Your motherland has what it has today only using attrocities and genosides. The future for it will be similar to this of countries behaving this way- Iraq, Serbia, etc etc.

The future is very close much more close than you can imagine and then the question will be " So called Turkish state?"

Maybe everyone should take a breather from this thread for a while.

What I say is very possible. Kurds are the largest nation that doesn't have its own independent country. The Kurds have every right for a free Kurdistan since those lands belong to them and not to the Turks (the Kurds where there long before the Turks arrived and occupied their lands)

It is just a matter of time. When the time comes we will be ready for it, since we will NEVER surrender the north part of our country to the invadors. Peace will not come until our land is returned to us.
