PR work in Ayia Napa will only pay £20 cyp a night, you will start working around 7pm and finish around 4am 7 days a week, that's if you want the money, I know people that just work 5 days a week as it's too tiring. Please don't think Cyprus is all a song and a dance, you will NEED to work to get a good wage to have a great time like you seem to want.
The average wage in Cyprus is £400 - £500 Cyp and that's office jobs, most bars tend to pay £300 - £400 a month and any tips occured. Acommodation ain't that cheap, the cheap stuff is the sh*tty stuff, so for a 2 bedroom apartment you can pay from £220 - £320 cyp a month.
Peak season is slowly creeping up, so you may not manage to get into bar work up Ayia Napa, but you could try Larnaca, it's closure than Limassol. Most centres like Protaras, Ayia Napa and Paphos, tend to hire before the season starts or have their favorite workers re-appear.
Hotel work is good or tourist, they usually let you rent a holiday apartment or a hotel room for the time. Consider though, Cyprus is really only a holiday season up until mid Oct then starts again around May.
Maybe posting a 'looking for accomodation' thread on www.angloinfo.com may help you out, also they have a 'looking for job' section also that you can post on.
