How can the inability of humans to answer a question about some phenomenon be a proof for the existence of God?

It is like the example I gave above. Because humans could not explain how a solar eclipse happened they used that as evidence for the existence of God.

That sort of reasoning is obviously fallacious.

Human beings will never be able to know everything about the universe. You can either accept this reality, or choose to fill the gabs in our knowledge with "God" in order to feel better.

This particular phenomenon, that is that out of nothing came something, that we cannot explain is an exception to all others because it has already been scientifically proven that out of nothing we can only get... nothing!

The phenomenon of something out of nothing does not belong to this world as we know it that is why the very beginning is very special.

I think Bananiot asked the question of who said that there was nothing before the big bang. You have to define what you mean by nothing. Something that cannot exist in our universes physics can be called nothing but that does not mean that in another universe it is not something. The particles that existed after the big bang only did so because they could exist in our universe. Apparently there are new particles being created ever second but only those that subscribe to our physics will survive. It is the same as in evolution if somethiong is born that can be sustained within our world it will survive and create a new species or a change in a species. As with black holes, we can observe them from our universe but try to enter what ever is on the other side and you become nothing. It is like Steven Hawkings said. It does not matter what came before the big bang because we would not be able to see it or understand it. It would not hold up to our Physics.
