denizaksulu wrote:Pyro, Mate; I normally do not curse. Sorry. Now let me tell you a story. A colleague of mine, a very intelligent lecturer was in the habit of approaching me and starting a conversation with the words "I know you wont like this, but....". My response always would be " If you know that I wont like it why bother uttering those words" That ended the conversation. She was intelligent but oh, whatever. All of us (with two exceptions) on this forum are very intelligent people and are able to put forward their opinions. Yet you told Zan that you deliberately tried to hurt him. Tut, tut, tut, Then you retract your statement? That is when I used the word "sicko". Was that my curse you are refering to? The Turkish phrase I used was apt under the circumstances "the horse has bolted from the stable". You have done the damage and then you retract. Whats the point?
In my young days we used to laugh at the Catholics. They go to church, pray to god for forgiveness/confession, come out commit another crime ask for forgiveness. Dont do the crime so you do not have to go to confession every time.
If I say sorry that I called you "sicko" I will be one of them.
Isnt is best to be civil with each other. I really think so. We can but try.
