um.. no. if the greeks didnt populate cyprus you would have been born somewhere in greece. so still greek. so shut up. unless of course you got some turkish blood in you, then maybe you would have been born in ankara where you deserve to live. you would then be privilaged to say, fuck the turks, im a kurd, and then strap your self with explosives and run into a store or something

The earliest civilizations discovered in Greece, Turkey, and Cyprus are:

Turkey (Hittite Empire) 1900-1300 BC
Greece (Minoan in Crete) 2700..1450 BC
Greece (Mainland Helladic) 2800..2100 BC.
Cyprus (Choirokoitia) 3,500 BC

So who do you suppose discovered and populated who?

Regards, GR.

Just a correction there GR, if you don't mind.

Chirokitia:

Quote:

'The Neolithic settlement of Choirokoitia, occupied from the 7th to the 4th millennium B.C., is one of the most important prehistoric sites in the eastern Mediterranean. Its remains and the finds from the excavations there have thrown much light on the evolution of human society in this key region. Since only part of the site has been excavated, it forms an exceptional archaeological reserve for future study.'

I beleive there is one other site discovered which is 2000 years older then Chirokitia. Which makes it 9000 BC.

Further to Kafenes and GRs comments about our (if I may) Khirokhita civilisation, it did not just land there from outer space. The Khirokhitia culture must have evolved over a few thousand years. We need to review the total time span.

My country's history is older than that of Turkey and Greece put together, my language is the official Tsibreika, my religion is that I'm the only God there is, and my beliefs are that you are a disgruntled Cypriot female from the Polytechnio days!

Your turn now...

Your "history" is part of the Greek and Turkish history you idiot neocypriot

You seem to be completely ignorant of the difference of history and pre-history...
