stuart,i dont want to offend you but if you were brought up as a jw then no wonder you hate religion.
im not religious i just love the lord with all my heart and soul and this was not forced upon me,and i dont force it upon my children.
my children made there own choice to follow the lord and that was because of what they have been brought up with and that is plenty of love and kindness.
a christian is someone who never has to tell you, you just know.

Do you not think that most conflicts are political but religion comes into it because of each sides origns ? I think that a lot of the time people people with diferent political beliefs use religion as a weapon or a tool to insult the other side .

I agree Bigdog, theirs a lot of truth in what you say,as when building an army or even a gang you all must have a shared belief or principals in common that is the complete opposite of the other side..........whether it be a different religions, football teams or the colour of your skin.
