You were? Religion is sacred to many people around the world so it has to be handled with care. Can the same be said for the US?

I don't believe this forum is a place to discuss ANY religion. There are few qualified, with sufficient knowledge, to debate anything sensibly and there are always those who pick up the wrong end of the stick and thus arrogantly spout errant nonsense.

I propose we ask Admin to rule that this be a religion-free zone. Anyone with me?

I know this will offend some people, BUT this is my opinion.

Religion is for weak people.

Either those that had it forced upon them (like I was, being brought up as Jehovah’s Witness) or those that have nothing else in their life to live for!

I’m glad that I left JW’s when I was old enough to do so, and then I have lived my life for me, my wife and my children.

For those of you that NEED religion – Good Luck – Just DO NOT come near me or my family… God Help You --- IF YOU HAVE ONE, or an old picture, a book, a symbol etc etc etc

GG , We have freedom of speech in Cyprus , look at what I say about the church and religion. What we do not have unfortunately is the ability and wisdom to appreciate that there are differing opinions and we should take them on board not dismiss them as decadent , abnormal or sinful.
Can I also say that to the best of my knowledge most Cypriots aren't that religious , yes they go to church or the mosque but they are mostly attending traditional festivities.
Once again Long may America rule because when you see how the Chinese treat their dogs and cats , or rather how they treat dogs and cats that they breed for fur , skinning them alive ! your hair will stand to attention and wish that America will always be the superpower on this planet. Imagine 2 billion Chinese ruling the world !!
