A bus with 12 people (6 GC and 6 TC of ages of 60 plus) from different villages travelling in the south and visiting the 6 TC villages with each TC reminiscing his/her youth days (good and bad) and how things were in their village at that time.
Then off to the north to do the same thing for the GCs. This could be a 2 day trip with lunch stopovers and even all spend a night in a hotel. The south visit could be in Turkish with Greek and English subtitles and the north visit in Greek with Turkish and English subtitles or even the whole thing with English narration with Greek and Turkish subtitles and a host who can master both languages.
This will be a great way to show the world how well we can get along, when left alone.
What do you think? Will it work? Any more input of ideas? Will the north administration allow such a shoot?
Do u think the south administration will also allow such a shoot?
in both sides u have to get permission from the administration offices.
it will be a good idea to make such a documentary.to see the results depends on the people you are going to choose. i would like to work on such a good project.also i can talk about your project with BRTK director boards. Why not. even u can write direcly to brtk general director Hüseyin Gürşan.Or u can get in touch with the private tv channels from north.e.g:Genc Tv or Kıbrıs Tv.
good luck........
BRTK does not even have a license to broadcast... it is a pirate
station!
