Islam the peaceful religion

This comment was passed on to me by a very good Saudi friend of mine and I think sums up the views of most people

"Not all muslims are terrorists, but so far all the terrorists have been muslims"

kind of makes you think

Where does it say in the teachings of islam that a woman should be publicly executed for learning to read?
The disgusting sight of women being shot in the back of the head in the middle of a football pitch just for learning to read was carried out on the direct orders of the muslim/religious leaders of Afghanistan and shown on television, the same people who oredered the blowing up of ancient Bhudist monuments/statues in that country.
If women were created so flawed that they have to cover themselves up and be treat as the chattles of men along with not having the same rights/status as males then surely the failure is down to God not the women.

Maybe they do, but what do the majority of the worlds trouble spots have in common. Hint - Christianity is not the majority religion in them.

They seem to have an awful lot of Christian fellows in uniform parading around telling them what to do though.

Do you not see the hand of the west in all these trouble spots - including Cyprus. (using TCs aginst the GCs)?

"Not all muslims are terrorists, but so far all the terrorists have been muslims"

Really???

Christian terrorism is a form of militant extremism that attempts to spread fear and terror, to perpetrate ideological goals, through violent attacks against civilian populations.

Many frequently-cited examples of "Christian" terrorism are closely tied to racist ideology promoting white supremacy, such as the Ku Klux Klan. Other groups, such as the Christian Identity movement bridge the gap between racism and religious extremism targeting racial and religious minorities, immigrants, homosexuals and women.[1][2][3]
One of the most widely-reported Christian terrorists is Eric Robert Rudolph, an American who committed a series of bombings across the southern United States in the 1990s, killing three people and injuring at least 150 others, because he violently opposed abortion and homosexuality as contrary to Christian doctrine[4].

The National Liberation Front of Tripura is a Fundamentalist Christian militant group in India, demanding a separate Christian state. Allegedly funded by the Baptist Church of Tripura, it is accused of ethnic cleansing[12] and bombings that have killed hundreds, as well as forcing gunpoint conversions. They were declared a terrorist organization under the Prevention of Terrorism Act in 2002.[13]

Shining Path

The Communist Party of Peru more commonly known as the Shining Path (Sendero Luminoso), is a Maoist guerrilla organization in Peru that launched the internal conflict in Peru in 1980. Widely condemned for its brutality, including violence deployed against peasants, trade union organizers, popularly elected officials and the general civilian population[1], Shining Path is on the U.S. Department of State's "Designated Foreign Terrorist Organizations" list.[2

FARC

The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) is a Marxist/Leninist organization in Colombia which has employed vehicle bombings, gas cylinder bombs, killings, landmines, kidnapping, extortion, hijacking, as well as guerrilla and conventional military. The United States Department of State includes the FARC-EP on its list of foreign terrorist organizations, as does the European Union. FARC has It funds itself principally through extortion, kidnapping and their participation in the illegal drug trade.[5][6] Many of their fronts have also overrun and massacred small communities in order to silence and intimidate those who do not support their activities, enlist new and underaged recruits by force, distribute propaganda and, more importantly, to pillage local banks.

November 17

Revolutionary Organization 17 November(also known as 17N or N17) is Marxist terrorist organization formed in 1973 and believed by many to be have been disbanded in 2002 after the arrest and trial of a number of its members. During its heyday, the urban guerrilla group assassinated 23 people in 103 attacks on U.S., diplomatic and Greek targets. Greek authorities believe spin-off terror groups are still in operation, including Revolutionary Struggle, the group that allegedly fired a rocket propelled grenade at the U.S. Embassy in Athens in January 2007.

Revolutionary People's Liberation Party/Front

The Revolutionary People's Liberation Party/Front, is a militant Marxist-Leninist party in Turkey. It is in the terrorist organization lists in the U.S., the UK and the EU.

Tamil Tigers

The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE or Tamil Tigers) are a Marxist/Leninist influenced terrrorist group which has committed more suicide attacks in the last two decades than any other terrorist organization. They have been influenced by a largely Communist ideology. The Tamil Tigers are engaged in a struggle for independence from the central Sri Lankan government.

ETA

ETA is a Marxist-Leninist paramilitary Basque nationalist organization. ETA has committed approximately 900 killings and dozens of kidnappings. More than 500 ETA militants are held in prison in Spain and France. On March 22, 2006 the organization declared a "permanent ceasefire." ETA broke the ceasefire with a car bomb attack on December 30, 2006 at Barajas International Airport, Madrid killing two Ecuadorians.

Revolutionary Nuclei

Revolutionary Nuclei is a Marxist-Leninist group in Greece, formed in 1995. The group is on the U.S.Department of State's list of designated Foreign Terrorist Organizations and appears on the list of terror organisations of the European Union.

May 19th Communist Movement

The May 19 Communist Organization, also referred to as the May 19 Communist Coalition, was a US-based, self-described revolutionary organization formed by splintered-off members of the Weather Underground. The group was originally known as the New York chapter of the Prairie Fire Organizing Committee (PFOC), an organization devoted to legally promoting the causes of the Weather Underground. Its name was derived from the birthdays of Ho Chi Minh and Malcolm X. The May 19 Communist Organization was active from 1978 to 1985.
From 1982 to 1985 a series of bombings were ascribed to the group.
By May 23, 1985 all members of the group had been arrested, with the exception of Elizabeth Duke, who remains a fugitive. At a 1986 trial, six group members were tried and convicted of multiple counts of domestic terrorism.

Red Army Faction (RAF)

The Red Army Faction, was one of postwar West Germany's most active and prominent militant left-wing groups. It described itself as a communist "urban guerrilla" group engaged in armed resistance, while it was described by the West German government as a terrorist group. The RAF was formally founded in 1970 by Andreas Baader, Gudrun Ensslin, Horst Mahler, Ulrike Meinhof, Irmgard M?ller and others.
The Red Army Faction operated from the 1970s to 1998, committing numerous crimes, especially in the autumn of 1977, which led to a national crisis that became known as "German Autumn". It was responsible for 34 deaths, including many secondary targets such as chauffeurs and bodyguards, and many injuries in its almost 30 years of existence.

And I didn't even mention the IRA

Perhaps you don’t approve of some of the things being done by some Arabs/Muslims just as many of us also condemn many things being done by Westerners/Christians but what has the Islamic religion got to do with it? Nothing that’s what! GR.

You don't get it do you, all westerners aren't christians, no true recognised christian church supports the slaughter of innocents, whereas slaughter goes on every day in the name of allah with the blessings of high ranking muslim clerics who are not excomunicated if they are, according to some here, not following the teachings of their religion.
