My Wife attended the General Hospital in Paphos on Bank Holiday Monday May 2006 due to a mosquito bite (her face was badly swolen) we were there all of 15 mins and they even phoned around to find a pharmacy that was open. Can you imagine that in the UK on bank holiday Monday?
