No VP, we are not equal! You worth much more than us! You worth more than us because you are Turks! Never forget this! One of you worth as many as 4 of us! That is how it is worked out for the 18% to be equal to the 82%! Thank you for doing us such a favourable discount on your father's price, otherwise one of you should have been equal to all of us plus the entire world together!

Kifeas
By you I mean both you in singular and plural (TC community!) Doesn't your leadership want to treat the GCs as second class citizens in their own country, i.e. only to pay taxes to the "TCCS," but have no equal rights with the other citizens of TC origin? If not, why did they pay vagabond Kofi Annan to draft this constitution? Why did they pay Verheugen to try and cheat on the GCs in convincing them to say "yes" to the Annan plan? Didn't you say in another thread that you want to live in your "own" state without listening to any Greek language around you? You want me to find the post in which you said this?

Kifeas there is absolutely no need to argue the AP with you becuase you have demonized it to a point of no return and are unable to even comprehend that anything can be in favor GCs or partly realted to trying to tailor fit a plan to our particular complicated situation.

Therefore you now agree that this rubbish constitution that Kofi Annan and De Soto had prepared for you should be trashed in the bin! Aren’t you?

If so, why then did you draft it in the first place?

A way forward...you have nothing now, you must be real happy.

But VP, when and were did I or any other GC ever said that we do not want or accept that you shouldn't have any human, political, religious, cultural and educational rights anywhere in Cyprus, similar to what you have tried to enforce on us in the 30% of our country?

Correct i do want a TC state where TCs are the majority just like you want a GC state where you are the majority, its ok for you but not me, whay is that? I am not against you having equal rights as long as Gcs do not enforce their will on my community.

Kifeas is it possible that we could perhaps credit the TCs with little to zero involvement regarding both the Anan Plan and the constitution of the TCCS? My reasoning is Talat was too new and ignorant to do anything, all the negotiations were done by Turks from Turkey, and all TC technocrats were all employed and working for Denktash. While the Anan Plan was discussed Denktash and his gang were still in power.
Your opinion please.

Back to the Original question that divides Cypriots into groups and asks if a specific group (the TCs) are joint owners of Cyprus.

Lets divide the Cypriots into some other group, straight and homosexuals, and lets suppose the latter are 5%. Are the homosexuals joint owners of Cyprus?
Lets divide it into smokers and non smokers. Are the smokers (35%) joint owners of Cyprus?

If the answer to the above questions is yes, then hey those homosexuals who are also smokers must be some kind of "special owners".

I'm still waiting for Zan and VP to convert my ONE share of British Telecoms to become 50% of the whole BT company.

One "majority" was formed Naturally over few thousand years, and the other "majority" will be "forced artificially" since 1974.

Sounds fair and square to me.

Is it possible the Turkish speaking Cypriots have lost the boat? The reality is when we UNITE as a people there will be no need for bloody 18% - 82% - 30% - 40% we are all equal because we are Cypriot.

I believe it is only in the SMALL mind that division exists, and I do believe the the majority of Turkish speaking Cypriots are constantly selling themselves short by their desire to identify as Turkish rather than Cypriot. In a UNITED Cypriot society everyone is equal and no one is a minority, other than the gays, greenies, socialists, shepeherds, dancers etc.

Who is ruled by the Church?

What's wrong with Cypriot brains?

There is something wrong with Turkish+Greek+Cypriot brains, I can feel it even if I'm not a brain surgeon..
1 side follow a hypocrite army and the other side a hypocrite church instead of following common sense...
Am I wrong??

Humanist we have lost many boats you are right, but we are still here and fighting for our right to determine our own future without GC dominance. The ideology that we are all Cypriots is still very new and not supported by many I'm not saying this may not develop over time but due to our recent history not many will subscribe to your calling. There has to be a transition period where trust and cooperation are nurtured and Cypriotisim is encouraged by showing discrimination will not be tolerated and that everyone is equal.

But for now the only way forward is a level playing field on both sides where each individual can decide where they wish to settle..the EU have this in mind and will continue to apply pressure on the GC south to concede to measures that will ease the isolation on the north, GCs objections will not help nurture trust quite the opposite it has shown over the last 3 years a hardening of views against GCs and alienation of the TCs, pushing them further into the lap of Turkey.
