A few weeks ago I was so disapointed that I decided to abandon this forum for ever.
I concluded there is absolutely no way to have an agreed solution.

I still don't believe there is any possibility to have an agreed solution-not because of the politicians- but because of what the majority of TCs want or made to believe they will get.

So I came back just for the few friendships, and for watching around.

You think TP, a man who has spent half a century in Cyprus politics, doesn’t realize the dirty games being played by the Turks and TCs?

Cyprus can only be liberated through the same way it was enslaved. :(

I also believe that the members involved with the cyprob threads hardly represent the majority of true Cypriots. So, anyone who thinks Cyprus belongs to GC or TC should get a large A3 cardboard sheet, draw the Greek or Turkish flag on it, then roll it and stick it up their ‘where the sun don’t shine’.

Sorry Kafene, but we’re so use to Cypriot Armenians that we feel there’s no difference between us so we automatically assume you’re with us everytime.

Hi Kafenes my friend. I am sorry that you feel an outcast in your own home. I am sure there was no deliberate intention on anyone to make you feel so. Way back I thought the Armenians and Maronites elected to throw their lot in with the GCs. Was I wrong to assume that? Cyppolitics is never so simple, is it? :x

Sorry Get Real but there shouldn't be an 'us' or 'them', you see that's where the problem is.

Yes Deniz, that is correct, it was the 1960 referedum where all Armenians except 5 voted for the Greek side but don't you think we should leave that behind us now. Because of my name everyone askes me where I am from, and when I say I am a Cypriot, they look strangely at me and tell me that I have a foreign name, to which I answer "what is a Cypriot name?"

I know how you feel, and I am sure you will understand how I feel when asked where am I from or what am I, and I am always proud to say "I am Cypriot" and they always reply "oh! so you're greek then" . :x

Yes I get that as well to which I answer NO, I AM CYPRIOT. They usually nod (OK) but with a puzzled look.
