I've heard of a local service that will ship properly gift-wrapped dog crap to ex-lovers, etc. Kind of a gag gift. I'm sure a similar service could be purveyed with donkey poop...

Maybe the donkey-drawn watermelon carts could be used for eco-tourism? For 25 pounds a day, you get to ride along in the cart and help sell water melons. At the end of the day, all you can eat baticha and you get dropped off at the beach. If you do a good job selling, throw in some halloumi too. It just might sell with snobbish western "intellectual" types looking for that authentic experience.
