Fishing in Cyprus?

Postby Kendo » Thu Jun 07, 2007 11:32 am

Hello all, i am a new board member. I am coming over to Cyprus on the 20th June (Ayia Napa) Some of my friends are keen anglers, i was wondering if it is worth their while bringing their rods? Can you hire boats for fishing trips anywhere in or around Ayia Napa? Kendo

I don't usually fish, it's my friends who do. They fish for pike and trout when river fishing.Kendo

I thought the waters around Cyprus would be jumping with fish (shows how much i know :) ) Maybe they will book a private trip for tuna. Kendo

If you're after anything bigger than a stickleback [/i]anywhere in the Med you'll be disappointed. The bu99ers shoot, spearfish, and dynamite anything bigger
