We have NOTHING to say to you that can bring a smile to your face.

Blah Blah Blah... are you trying to avoid giving an answer to my question to you regarding the Istanbul pogrom?

You show total disrespect to those that have opposing views by telling them to go and fuck them selves and have the audacity to demand an apology you rascal ?? Let me tell you Greek. Way back in the 50s I joined ANE and participated in pro ENOSIS demonstrations BECAUSE I KNEW NO BETTER. Now that I know , I say to you , that you the Greeks and Athenians instead of spending your time demonstrating for insignificant issues should unite and demand UNION WITH CYPRUS .Get that Communist leader of the party to instruct you on this issue , since she is always there to open her big mouth and talk rubbish. Wake up , the glory of Greece ain't no more baddie , its now the beginning of the glory of CYPRUS.

Thank you, THANK YOU for that post, you spared me from the trouble of proving that you are mentally challenged

I think anecdotal Annie got caught in a lie. You would have to be something like 60+ years old then.

Miltiades, you are pathetic. No Greek from the mainland ever supported the massive ethnic cleansing on Cyprus from the Turkish army. The Turks on this forum many of whom you consider your so called compatriots do. The Cypriot left has been making so many lies against Greece since 1974 to hide their past mistakes.

They asked where I was from and I explained that I visited Istinjo as a mark of respect for a great Cypriot. Conversation turned to the past and all 3 concurred that prior to the fanatics of EOKA B they had interacted with their neighbours and had no problems what so ever. They also all agreed that this cluster t/c villages had been neglected by the government and that the inhabitants had a very hard time . None expressed any malice against their old neighbours on the contrary all were critisizing the G/C fanatics for all the mess that ensued.

This is where you get your so called "knowledge" from that you arrogantly post to this forum? Discussions in kafes?

No wonder why such a pathetic creature is convinced he is a Cypriot Cypriot. Great way to learn about history...

Listen you jumped up son of a gun , the best knowledge you can gain is by interacting with the people and listening to the people , not some empty words that you get out of a book. Yes it is how history is made , how events become clear when people relate their own experiences and you listen and analyse . You seem so obsessed with the notion that Cyprus is Greek and that those that oppose this view are either lefties or pathetic creatures. May I also suggest that since you respond to my posts learn a few things about me. I call myself a Greek Cypriot not a Greek which I'm not. I'm 61 years of age , I joined ANE and took the oath at the age of 12 as all other kids did at the time .We were the "messengers " the carriers " of the main EOKA movement. My older brother was an EOKA active member that participated in action against the British. Now shut the fuck up and show some respect to those that know a little more than just stupid kalamaristikes istories and me a favour MI MOU TA ARHIDIA ZALIZE

The case here is not what Greece gave to Cyprus after 1974- this someone will never succeed to convist Cypriot living in UK- They know nothing or they pretent so.

Secondly I saw that everybody who sayng that is Greek should stop participating in this forum. Does Meltiades bougth also the side? Or maybe because he is confused what Cyprus Naionality means and when initially such a thing appearred we, all the rest, must say Yes Sir, you are right.

May be you are stucked Meltiades on 60 and 70's but I can show you thousands of Cypiots considering themelves as Greeks without to support Greek Junta as you said or Union with Greece. For the time being I present you myseve as one of them .

As for your famous Cyprus Nation please try to locate all the speaches of Makarios, Klerides, Kyprianou, Vasiliou, Papadopoulos and point us even one time any of them quoted such a thing like Cyprus Nation.

Meltiades a very simple question for you: Do you consider EOKA (55-59) as terrorist organization or freedom fighters? Then evrything will be clear here.

Finally as for your request we do dissapear for the forum, pls take the step, the door is open

Your attitute guide us to the conclusion that a Greek from mainland Greece made a dirty thing on you.

You are the biggest incompetent in the world!

Every document from the past is part of the historical record. It is the duty of histoirans to examine the recorded past using serious and compeling sources. The only people not respecting serious historians are the NeoCypriot losers who would rather rewrite history as it suits them.

Someone reading four serious historical books and spending a few hours reading them can learn more history than any of the incompetent purveyors of so called oral history, from years of clapping their gums at a kafenio.

I ignore Nikeforos's contribution to this issue on the grounds of sheer stupidity , but will respond to Epsilons' question as to my consideration of EOKA , and here I specifically mean EOKA , not the suffocates that were re assembled to beat up all those that though that Cyprus was an independent nation and not part of Greece.
I consider EOKA to have been a liberation organization in every sense of the word. The means did not always , as it is now apparent , justify the ends. But it gave this nation , the nation of Cyprus a window out of the British colonialist world.
