I look forward to the day we will visit every inch of our beloved Cyprus together as two free and equal Cypriots, without seeing one foreign flag or having to show our passports to anyone along the way...

Can I come along as well, please. I'll behave myself, promise!

You would be most welcome,kafenes...but you might have to shout the first round  (Aussie slang for buying the first round of drinks or whatever.... :D )

Provided that instead of a cookie in each hand you have a bottle of red and a bottle of white !!

My dear friend Bir , I share your dream of two Cypriots equal in all aspects of political life and social structure , without let or hindrance visit each inch of Cyprus . The day will come , there are thousands who share our views , balanced and sensible ones.

Thanks Bir. I lived in Sydney for 14 years and am familiar with the Aussie slang.

Couldn't we make that 'red wine in one hand and zivania in the other'?

Welcome back my friend. I'm glad you had a good time, and also managed to bring one Greek Flag down, from a Cypriot Government Building. One flag at a time, is the way to start the trend. I must admit, I did not do that myself while I was there last month, but now that I have grown more confidence of being in GC dominated part of Cyprus, I will be BOLDER next time around.

I was suppose to go to a wedding in the "TRNC" this summer, but has been changed, and now, it will be in the UK, the weekend of July 7th, or if you like 07-07-07, so perhaps we can meet for couple of hours in London.

My cousin's daughter really knows how to pick a date for her wedding.

My dear friend I would love to meet up when you are in London for the wedding , might even invite my friend mrfromng to join us , promise no politics just plenty of wine !!

If your story is real then I wil closesl invastigate who lower the Greek flag.!!!There is not a real man in South ho can do this by complains of a UK Cypriot . The most of them (UK Cypriots) are still living with AKEL theories of 60,s and 70,s. Maybe you have not noticed that RIK jurnalists are finally speaking Greek and not the Mongolian Cyprus dialog.or even worst the noices by which Old Cypriots of UK are communicate with.

1) You will not investigate anything
2) You said "South"
3) You called Miltiades a communist

I had some nice words to describe your post above but I think I exceeded my "nice words" quota for today.

You are absolutly right.

Let me ask you a question Epsilon: are you for partition so that we have a purely GC state in the "south" and a purely Turkish state in the "north"?
If yes are you for Enosis of that "south" part to Greece?

Useless to explain again. You read what you like to read or what actually you see?Try to find even one of mine posts statying anything about ENOSIS or partition. You declared me as fanatic, Enosis follower, etc etc fo only one reason because I just say that we are Greeks. Everytime you are affected by our internal propaganta after 1974 saying that anybody say anything about our Greek culture, language, history, is a fascist and fanatic. You are so pure in mind and therefore i ill not expect you to understand the cost created to GCs becuase of this Cyprus nation theory.

Th lates bill was Annan plan and new one follows....

After tonight exchanges between us, I would have doubted couple of hours ago, but now it may be possible. We'll wait and see.

We'll be in London from July 6th Friday until 9th July Monday, so it's going to be a "hit & miss" again, but perhaps either late lunch on Friday the 6th or lunch Saturday the 7th.

I'll keep in touch my friend.

What I find nauseatingly obscenely disgusting is the premise that the Cyprus nation is all but a figment of our imagination , a mere theory !!! My Cypriot ancestrals did not exist , my great grandfather , Spanos , was a priest in Paphos , spent 40 plus years pretending that he was a Cypriot according to this incalculably misguided individual. Such was the driving force that has today proven to have been the predominant factor in causing immense damage to the island of Cyprus , who incidentally has a history going back some 6 thousand years , and this immeasurably naive person denies. I suggest he begins a course of antibiotics to assist his recovery. Let him know that I m a Greek Cypriot , and just as there are Spanish Americans , Italian Americans , Greek Americans there are Greek Cypriots , Turkish Cypriots , English Cypriots and so on and so forth . All ARE CYPRIOTS that consider this island to be their nation adopted or otherwise.
ps. Living in Athens as you do , do tell us do the Great Athenians still spit in the street , and have the signs on the trains "NO SPITTING " have been removed ?? Just wondered .
