MILTIADES IN CYPRUS

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby denizaksulu » Wed Jun 13, 2007 11:58 pm

Miltiades; I have read nearly all of your recent post and find that we do have similar ideas. BTW same age as well. We need more of you. I mean more people who are not afraid to speak their minds.

VP; ABSOLUTELY. That is why we need strong foundations. Are the current leadership capable of preparing these "foundations". It would be the peoples choice to elect the correct people to do the right thing. You cannot do that by spreading venom, like some members on this forum.

A level playing field and safe guards are imperiative otherwise there is noway to provide the structure to build trust and cooperation.

I believe that there is enough room in Cyprus for all Cypriots to live in harmony. I hope one day it will come. Bridges must be built on strong foundations and we need to kick the politicians in their backsides to act towards a settlement which will be accepted by most of us.

Hello denizaksulu,

First time I noticed your posts in here although you already posted almost 400 I see. Welcome to our little company my friend. Hope you enjoy it, it has all sorts of people.

So you are from Anglisidhes and you were kicked out in 1963? I am truly sorry for that my friend. You just added another living proof of our nation's barbarosity to it's own people...

Inshallah, Bir Kibrisli. I think I sent you a PM last week on the Talk Cyprus Forum regarding the TC dialect, but I am not sure if anybody visits that site anymore. It was just my observations of my youth.

And I second that , Cyprus has plenty of room for us all and when we have that Souvla on the Troodos mountains , you my friend get to chooser the meat , I will choose the Wine !!
Your are so right about meeting as many Cypriots as possible , beleive me it is so constructive and enlightening as I have found. Everyone knows I have tremendous respect for Birkibrisly , Kikapu , mrfromng and many more who sadly no longer post. The more bridges you build the more solid the crossing to the peaceful era will be.

The problem is not the amount of land we have to live on but who will rule and who will keep the peace.

The rule of the law , would you not agree VP.

Miltiades,

Listen my friend. I have just received my invitation to the "cousin's" wedding which is on July the 7th. I thought it was going to be in London, but it is in fact in Birmingham, but we will all be bused there from London, so needless to say, meeting with you on Saturday for lunch will not be possible. We are flying in Thursday, so it is still possible to meet Friday sometime. I will give you more info at a closer date, as they develop.
