MILTIADES IN CYPRUS

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby denizaksulu » Wed Jun 13, 2007 5:17 pm

24£cyp for a dozen. That is cheap.30 - 40 years ago they would sell nearly 1£cyp per bird. I would have thought they would be more expensive by now. Does that mean there is a surplus of black-caps?

So, your children DID swear then, so stop picking on Miltiades and Bambam.

So, they must have learned them from you and your wife and other family members. Us TC's say things around children, that we think it is funny, when they repeat it. The fact that you would tell them off, after they have used it, what good is that. They have already learned it, more than likely at home, if they are under the ages of 7-8.

After all, you still swear even today. You use the "C" word a lot.

Lets hope your kids do not read what you write, or else they will do the same in School.

I don't know how this is relevant to the thread but anyway the next time you come here Deniz, and assuming I've moved to my new home by then, I will personally cook you a big bowl of the above and probably add potatoes in there also! :)

GetReal; 2 pages back during a relaxed moment between antagonists they began talking about Cyprus foods (sort of a ceasefire). When I got there that is when I posted my last post. Sorry to put you off.
Being a relative newcomer I am picking up an interesting topic and reading it from the beginning. (catching up - so to speak). I am trying to learn more about the parties before I let lose. For the moment I am enjoying the fights. Its like watching "Greek Tragedies" . Most of the Cypriots are OK, bar two .
I understand how they feel. I cant stand the foreigners. I am glad there arent many Turks there. (as opposed to TCs). Your antagonists are very annoying. You have my support where they are concerned. As I told you previously I have no problems with Cypriot patriots. TC or GC.

Give Denizaksulu another month or so to build up some courage to start attacking Miltiades.

Who knows, the Two may be you and me.

Miltiades, definitely not you. I hope to get invited by you, and end up in the Trodos mountains one day and have some Souvla (Lamb for me pleeeeaze). I will talk about the good, I will ignore the "mothers of foul mouths".

Kikapu; you assume wrong. There is nothing wrong with Miltiades. I have not yet formed an informed opinion of you, so you are not number two. I have yet to read your past posts. I am no politician, I believe live and let live. I want to meet as many Cypriots as possible and make friends and try to build bridges at a personal level. I am a Humanist (not that Humanist). I believe that there is enough room in Cyprus for all Cypriots to live in harmony. I hope one day it will come. Bridges must be built on strong foundations and we need to kick the politicians in their backsides to act towards a settlement which will be accepted by most of us.

And I second that , Cyprus has plenty of room for us all and when we have that Souvla on the Troodos mountains , you my friend get to chooser the meat , I will choose the Wine !!
Your are so right about meeting as many Cypriots as possible , beleive me it is so constructive and enlightening as I have found. Everyone knows I have tremendous respect for Birkibrisly , Kikapu , mrfromng and many more who sadly no longer post. The more bridges you build the more solid the crossing to the peaceful era will be.

The problem is not the amount of land we have to live on but who will rule and who will keep the peace.
