An update on exit visas

Just done the trip with myn son. Anyone over the age of 21 with a G/C father ie G/C surname does not need an exit visa. I have just returned to UK with my 21 year old son without a problem. I had it confirmed though through the phone from the Ministry of Defence. Enjoy your holidays!
