Does any country outside of the UK require one?

Also you need to give us some idea of what you want to buy. I've seen 42" plasmas for about £600CYP but I haven't the foggiest on the make, and I've seen decently priced well known makes, but you need to narrow it down to what you want.

Cheers

When we went looking at prices last week in Limassol the TV's were much cheaper than the UK and these were the good makes - Toshiba, Sony etc.

Recently bought a latest model JVC 32" LCD with 2 HDMI sockets for ~£450, incl. VAT, after a little haggling. Panasonic was about £10 dearer.

LOL
Looks like SPAM to me!

Remember to check that the cheap TV's you are looking at have scart socket connections. Many of them don't ;-)
