VP, I told you thousands of times that i accept our side of fault. GC cause lots of pain to TC during that period but we lived together many years in peace. Why you cannot see those years as a fact and you always talk about the 1960-1974.

So you believe the rape is OK because they lived together peacefully before the act of rape? Think of it this way if you lived happily with your bf and one day he raped you, would everything be OK? Would you continue to live that bf?

And remember that during that period TC didnt want the republic and but they wanted a different government to represent them. They wanted TAKSIM. Am I wrong? Needs two to tango as they say.

We were kicked out of the "RoC" and could only return if we accepted the Aktritas plan....Taksim was a direct response to the GCs enosis dream, no enosis no taksim but you GCs couldnt stop your demented plight of trying to give us to Greece.

You want to present Turkey as the best thing that ever happened to Cyprus. Well is not that way ...and if it was as you said for the TC why you cannot agree on that with the rest of them? We have rules and laws which are adapted from Turkey but the majority of these are also inline with EU standards the control the TRNC, you have to come to terms with the fact that we have a country here called the TRNC, it maybe unrecognized but its ours and we love it. The "RoC" was never ours and we were never allowed to feel part of it by GCs who even today display the same traits as they did back then that we not equals and that we sshoudl be reduced to just another minority living in a GC state. Aint gonna happen.

The thing is that I do not understand why we have members in the parliament that are TC, academic members in our state University that are TC, TC journalists that works in the Greek side, TC in all public offices that works there to help TC citizens...and many more...why do we have all this since TC do not want to mix with us, do not want to be members of the RoC, do not want anything from us...do not want to see their rapists.

Something called a constitution..but even there those TCs are token and symbolic and only there to promote the phallacy that GC respect their rights and allow them to work in the "RoC" as equals. The majority of our workers are cheap labour, nothing more.

Yes VP I do get emotional and I do find it difficult to separate a rape towards a woman or a child a teenager or an elder woman. And you know why? Because I am a woman and I personally try to put myself into their position so I can understand them.
